While it is a great metaphor, it is not true. A frog will jump out when the water becomes uncomfortable.

Regardless, becoming more aware of myself was a big turning point in my trading. I went from exploring mentors and seminars to exploring myself, and becoming my own coach.

I'm happy to know that the frog will jump out before becoming fully poached! I guess the metaphor still works because most people have a "boiling point" that they must reach before "jumping out."
