Fascinating. This armchair thinker is blown away by some of these thoughts.

Coming from a time of strong oral tradition, Plato and other philosophers of the era have generated so many quotable phrases. Of course, it is their ideas that are of greatest importance, and not necessarily how they phrase their sentences, but the latter sure seems to have helped their marketability in future centuries!

Interesting quotes. Having studied Plato, though, I could never get past the idea that everything he said could be said by any person. "Knowledge" is extremely subjective.
